Who doesn’t love a good night’s sleep?

Lately, with all the craziness of our current world, I’ve been finding it a little hard to fall asleep. I’m sure most of you are the same.

Thoughts creep in when the lights go out and seem to “bed in” (pardon the pun) for the night, well at least until I can drown them out with some serious zzzzzs.

This struggling to sleep is foreign territory for me as I’m one of those lucky few that arrives in the Land of Nod almost as soon as my head hits the pillow. So I was getting pretty frustrated to say the least.

There are so many things we can do to help when trying to go to sleep; have the room at the right temperature, remove our devices, get rid of too much ambient light but none of these appeared to be my problem.

In fact it took me a little while to work out just what was disturbing my slumber but once I did, I’ve been sleeping like the proverbial “baby” ever since.

So what caused my dilemma? My Pillow!

Yep, the humble pillow plays such an important role in not only helping us get to sleep but spending the night peacefully and waking well rested and pain free in the morning. And as a chiro I want everyone to wake feeling great!

If you’ve been like me and had restless nights perhaps it’s time to revisit your pillow and see if it’s all that it’s meant to be.
