Muscle dysfunction within the hip can lead to poor movement patterns and hip pain, particularly in runners. This is often one of the leading causes of hip pain, typically driven by over-active hip flexors and adductors, and under-active gluteals and abductors.
This is more common than ever due to the increased time spent seated as we lead more sedentary lives or work those long hours at the desk.
The good news, however, is that simple exercises can help to improve this.
In this video, I go through a stretch and strengthening exercise to help improve movement patterns within the hip and best of all, help to ease your pain!
And remember if you would like some help to deal with your hip pain, then just give the clinic a call on 84319100 to schedule an appointment. We’re here to help! 😊💚
