The Bod Squad Team

Care starts with the right people.

Meet the friendly team behind The Bod Squad. Each of them brings different skills and experience, but they share the same priority: helping you feel heard, supported and confident in your care.

Lorraine Scarr

BSc M.Chiro

Chiropractic

If you've spent any time at The Bod Squad, chances are you've heard Lorraine's laugh before you've seen her.

After more than 25 years as a chiropractor, Lorraine still genuinely loves what she does - helping people understand their bodies, helping them move better, and most of all, helping them get back to doing the things they love.

After graduating from Macquarie University in Sydney, Lorraine moved to Adelaide in 2000, expecting it to be a short adventure. Instead, she fell in love with the city, its lifestyle and its people. More than two decades later, Adelaide is home, and her roots run deep through the community she has built both professionally and personally.

Lorraine is passionate about women's health and believes that every woman deserves to feel strong, confident and capable in her body. Whether she's supporting someone through pregnancy, helping them navigate the challenges of perimenopause, improving their bone health, or simply helping them understand why their body is behaving the way it is, her goal is always the same - to help women live life to the fullest.

She knows life is busy. Between work, families, caring for others and trying to juggle everything else life throws at us, women often put themselves last. Lorraine loves helping women change that story, not through perfection, but through small, practical steps that create meaningful change over time.

When she's not in the clinic, you'll usually find her spending time with her family, planning the next holiday, cooking for people she loves, cheering from the sidelines of a swimming pool, walking Winnie, or attempting to convince herself that she enjoys lifting weights at the gym (the jury is still out on that last one).

What she does know is that staying strong, active and healthy opens the door to more opportunities, more adventures and a better quality of life, and that's exactly what she wants for every patient who walks through the door.
